The Cybersecurity Training and Exercises will be held online in two stages:

The Training and Team Preparation will take place from October 20 to 24, 2025.

Cyber Exercises will be held online on October 25, 2025 during the event
This practice-oriented event meets the objectives of the UN Convention Against Cybercrime and is aimed at practicing skills and improving competencies in combating cybercriminals and protecting critical information infrastructure in real-life environment

1. Training and Preparation of Participant Teams
From October 20 to 24, the organizer will conduct training and preparation of participant teams to ensure successful completion of the subsequent Cyber Training and Exercises.
2. Introductory Briefing
On October 24, the organizer will conduct an introductory briefing for Cyber Training and Exercises participants in English in an online format. During the briefing, the organizer will familiarize participants with the rules and objectives of the Cyber Training and Exercises, introduce the Solar CyberMir platform interface, and answer participants' questions.

Cyber Training and Exercises
On October 25, the organizer will conduct Cyber Training and Exercises consisting of two stages: Investigation and Response. The Cyber Training and Exercises will be held online. The summary of the event will take place on October 26 on-site.

How many teams from one organization can participate in the Cyber Training and Exercises?
1 team for 1 organization
Can freelancers who do not represent specific organizations participate in the Cyber Training and Exercises?
No, only representatives of organizations can participate in the Cyber Training and Exercises.
Can a team consist of representatives from different organizations?
Yes, the team may include employees from different companies, but each team can represent only one specific organization.
What software will be used during the Cyber Training and Exercises?
The infrastructure is deployed on Windows OS. We will provide you more information about the software at the briefing.
Is there a meeting of the organizers and participants before the Cyber Training and Exercises?
An online briefing will be held on the 24th of October, providing participants with additional information about the event and familiarizing them with the setup and operation of the security tools pre-installed in the infrastructure. Besides, team training and preparation will also be held from October 20-24.
Will participants receive materials to review the rules and procedures of the Cybersecurity Training in detail?
Organizers will send all necessary information to participants, including the "Participant’s Guide".
Are there any requirements for the knowledge and skills of the participants in the Cyber Training and Exercises?
The following requirements are imposed on the participants of the Cyber Training and Exercises:
- Understanding the basic principles of information security
- Having skills in monitoring, investigating and countering cyber attacks
- Knowledge of CERT operations
Ability to work with security tools of the following classes:
- NGFW (Next-Generation Firewall)
- Endpoint Security
- IDS/IPS
- SIEM
It is also recommended to study NIST SP 800-61 Rev. 2 "Computer Security Incident Handling Guide".
